Goldcar is located directly at the airport and offers a wide range of vehicles for different travelers. Short trip? A compact model is the ideal solution. Longer stay with luggage or beach equipment? Family cars and SUVs offer more space. Electric and hybrid vehicles are also part of the fleet.
Every vehicle is checked before handover. Prices are displayed in full when booking online, so you know exactly what to expect. Where to pick up your car at Menorca Airport
The Goldcar rental desk is located outside the Menorca Airport (MAH) terminal. After collecting your luggage, follow the signs to the Public Parking - P1. Customers must cross the Public Parking, walking straight ahead toward the center of the parking lot, and then turn left. From there, you will see the Goldcar meeting point and our courtesy shuttle bus.
Discover Menorca and the surrounding area by car
With a rental car, you can also reach parts of Menorca that are difficult to reach by public transport. The island is not large, but the most beautiful places are far apart – and the bus schedules may not always fit your plans.
Mahón, the capital, is about ten minutes from the airport. The old town and the harbor are good places for lunch or a stroll. If you drive further west, you will reach Ciutadella in less than an hour. It is a much older town with narrow streets and a quieter pace.
To the north is Fornells, a small fishing village known for its seafood and calm waters. It is ideal for a day trip and can be reached by car in about 40 minutes. On the way, you will pass through Es Mercadal, where you can try local cheeses or pastries. For a view of the island, drive up Monte Toro, the highest point in Menorca. The road is winding but paved, and from the summit you have a panoramic view of the coast.
To the south is Binibeca, a whitewashed village that has become a popular photo spot and destination. It is about 20 minutes from the airport and is ideal for a relaxing afternoon outing. Parking is limited in high season, but it is one of the few places where it is actually quieter in the early evening than at midday.
The most famous beaches (Cala Macarella, Cala en Turqueta, Son Bou) are not directly accessible by public transport. You can drive to the nearest parking lot and continue on foot from there.
