Total relaxation near Alicante

tesal-sierra-cortina.jpg

I have a great idea for a relaxing weekend ideal for persons just returning to work from vacations or just to simply put a great en to your current vacations. I’m talking about the Tesal Spa in Sierra Cortina in the vicinity of Finerstrat in Alicante.

All you need to do is rent a car in the Alicante airport of in Benidorm and in less than half an hour you are there.

The natural properties of sugar, orange, chocolate and cacao will make you feel like new.

In this resort you will be able to try new treatments such as a brown sugar peeling- with very special aromas and textures, essential Mediterranean bath, anti stress bath with aromatherapy and cromotherapy, facial massage, and drink a fresh orange juice to top it all off.

Chocolatherapy is the key player in the Dulce Relax (sweet): a chocolate wrap and bath with a combination of a cacao oil massage. The sea and its elements inspire the Relax Marino, a wrap of seaweeds that will hydrate your body. Finally, the cold mud wrap on your legs, a jet shower and a facial peeling is what the Relax Tonificante offers you.

Alter writing this I don’t think I will be able to continue until I call them to make an appointment.

Musica and luxury lodging in Mallorca

hotel-son-vida.jpg

Even though we are still in the heat of summer I propose a plan for the fall. From the 9th of October until the 4th of November, the Musica Mallorca 2007 will take place in Palma de Mallorca (where else), which is a series of classical concerts under the artistic direction of Toyo Masanori Tanaka.

During this time, The Castillo Hotel Son Vida, a five star luxury resort surrounded by three golf courses and only 10 minutes away from Palma, offers very attractive packages. The Castillo Hotel Son Vida, that stands out due to its collection of valuable antiques, offers to all those art and culture lovers very interesting offers coinciding with the fall music festival.

The lodgings are for two, three or four nights in any category room chosen. This includes tickets to the concerts, breakfast, transfers to and from the airport in a Mercedes Class S, a welcome menu, as well as transfers to and from the concerts. Prices per person are starting at 805 € and following nights for 308 €.

Vacations at a great price in Valle del Jerte

valledeljerte.jpg

Let’s Start the week with a new suggestion for the summer. All you need to do is rent a car and travel to Valle del Jerte in Cáceres. Who would deny themselves the opportunity to enjoy a surrounding where the streams open way to a virgin terrain forming waterfalls of great beauty, in the counterfort of the Sierra de Gredos, between enormous oak and chestnut forest extensions, accompanied by the whisper of the streaming water of the river Jerte?

The answer to this question is called Hosperderia Valle del Jerte. It is a century old place converted in a cute and hospitable 4 star lodging. Among the services provided to its guest is an attractive view which can be enjoyed along with the great gastronomy of the area, all around nature at its best, its exotic Japanese gardens and its natural pools, perfect to refresh yourself once the heat strikes.

The best part of all this is of course the price for each room which is somewhere between 25 and 38 euros per person during the summer months. For a quick getaway, for a different kind of vacation, for the kids, for couples, for those who desire to discover a natural paradise like none other, for those looking for a couple days of peace outside of the stress of the city and a great alternative to the beach.

The Route of the White Towns

pueblos-blancos.jpg

Andalucía is on of those regions in Spain that offers the most possibilities to the traveler. Its cities are full of history and enchantments, but it is well worth the while to deviate from the common routes to get to know the gorgeous little towns that impregnate the south with an air of art and fun.

You can begin your journey by renting a car in Almeria, Jerez, Cadiz, Granada, Malaga or Seville. I recommend any of theses cities, you will eat well in any of them and they all have a lot to offer. From there on, you just have to let go and start to experience all the wonderful sites.

Narrow uphill streets, like the cords of a Spanish guitar or a good glass of wine. The beauty of these Andalucían places have hundreds of years capturing the hearts of musicians, poets, travelers, no one it really out of the reach of the magic attraction to these towns.

Alicante castle routes

castillo-de-banyeres.jpg

Alicante has a lot more than just the sun and the beach to offer. The little towns in the interior of this city have a rich history with numerous castles to prove it. And so the Alicante castle route is born and many of the natives here say it is a journey everyone should go on. The distances between castles are relatively short and the best way to get around is renting a car and taking your time in each town you stop in.

In this route you will get to know Banyeres de Mariola, Beneixama, Biar, Camp de Mirra, Canyada, Salinas, Sax and Villena. All this small towns have a middle age enchantment and reminiscent of Christians conquests.

The stand out castles are in Villena, Banyeres de Mariola and Sax, and not to forget Beneixama and Camp de Mirra. You’ll totally love this trip, especially the eating part, because restaurants in these little villages have the best authentic food you will find in the region.
