Eco One, the ecological car

The University of Warwick has just developed a car made with vegetables able reach speeds that go beyond 200 Km/h. This prodigy has tires manufactured with oils derived from potato and maicena, seats made of cañamo fiber re enforced with vegetable resins, linen break pads .. And on and on. Overall the car in 95% Biodegradable.

Ben Wood is the young 23 year old genius responsible for this work of art which took him more than two months to come up with the first prototype of the Eco One on a budget of more than 34,000 euros. At the moment this totally ecological vehicle will not be sold but you will be able to view it ant the National Museum of Sciences in London, where it will be exhibited from the 28th through the 30th of August.
