Road trip through the Costa del Sol

marbella-1.gif

One of the best places in Spain is the

Costa del Sol, full of picturesque views and traditional architecture of white painted houses with brilliant flowers at their surroundings. A trip to this part of the world is something we must all do at least once in our lives.
Starting in Malaga, travelling by car we could visit monuments and extraordinary beaches, from there to Torremolinos, a perfect place to spend a day in the sun, very near from there is Benalmadena where we should visit the

Bil Bil Castle, but like all the parts of the

Costa del Sol their beaches are the best of the best. We continue on our journey heading to Mijas, an enchanting little town that is full of narrow streets with colourful flowers adorning their balconies, with the Puerto Banus very near. Our final destination is Estepota at the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja, from the Paseo Maritimo we could stop and reflect on our journey and take advantage of our return to visit all we left behind.

Travelling by car this Spring Break

 road-trip-2.gif

Spring Break is one of the busiest travel times of the year. It is great fun to go on a road trip with our family to our final vacation destination. But, we need to keep in mind all the travel precautions so we are driving safe. Before you begin your journey you need to make sure your car is in excellent conditions to travel a long way.If you feel your car is not up to par you should consider renting a vehicle so you ensure the safety of your family. The next most important part of planning a road trip is making sure you have all the necessary maps or a GPS system to guide you through the journey. If you travel with kids, you need to make sure they have the correct car seats for their age and that they have things to entertain them such as a DVD player, cards, colouring books or music, so that they are not asking you every ten minutes “are we there yet”.This Spring Break with a little precaution we will all have an awesome relaxing time with our friends and family.Source ideasana

Puig Campana, an excellent adventure

puig-2.gif

Between Feindestrat and Villajoyosa, a step away from Benidorm you will find El Puig Campana, the most popular mountain of the province with 1,406 meters tall. It has two faces, one perfect for a scaling and the other perfect for a hike. But don´t be fooled either one is a hard stretch to the top. With rough terrain, several rest stops are needed but the final destination is worthwhile with one of the most beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding city’s. One of the most spectacular views of the

Mediterranean. There are also possibilities to go on an overnight hike with help of an experienced professional that will help you and a group of adventures trail and camp out in the fresh night air and enjoy the sunrise the next morning. It is an unforgettable experience that will gain you peace and calm. A perfect place to visit any day, rent a car and enjoy the ride.more information | alicanteblog

Weekend in the Costa Blanca

benidorm.jpg

This weekend we decided it would be fun to just rent a car and travel through the Costa Blanca to enjoy the great weather and sites. As easy as 1,2,3 was our rental process with GoldCar , we choose a convertible so we could enjoy the fresh air, we picked it up early in the morning and started our site seeing through this part of the Mediterranean.

Our first stop was Calpe, where we enjoyed a great cup of coffee overlooking the Peñon de Ifach, next to Altea where we had lunch in a quaint little restaurant and then we were off to Alicante port to visit the Castillo de Santa Barbara. Our hair flying in the wind, my friend’s idea to rent the convertible was just perfect. Our final destination was Benidorm were we danced the night away.

If you plan a visit to the Costa Blanca or any part of Spain renting a car is a sure bet to see and experience everything first hand.
